Minute Man National Historical Park
Hanley will be completing a historical renovation of the landscape features for The National Park Service at The Buttrick House. Project Start: Late Spring 2023
Project Description:
Welcome to our project at Minute Man National Historical Park (MIMA), where we're working to restore and preserve the beautiful Buttrick Garden Terrace area. Over time, extreme weather conditions have taken their toll, causing decay and deterioration to the landscape features. Bluestone and cobble walkways and steps have been affected, and there has been damage to the historic iron railings and gates due to vandalism and weathering.
Our team is dedicated to repairing and stabilizing these elements to ensure the preservation of the park's historic beauty and the safety of its visitors and staff. We'll be conducting targeted repairs to the iron railings and gates, as well as stabilizing the walkways and steps. By addressing these issues, we'll not only restore the park's aesthetic appeal, but also improve the overall experience for everyone who visits.
As a contractor for The National Park Service, we're honored to be a part of this important project at MIMA. Our team of experts is committed to using our expertise in historic preservation and restoration to bring the Buttrick Garden Terrace area back to its former glory.
